On a sunny Friday we entered the port of Jakarta after 7 days on the open water. In this short time (for a sailing boat!) we were able to travel the distance of 650 nautical miles from Bali. Thanks to the constant 1,5 knot current and fair SE winds we set a personal record! We are overwhelmed by the million boats everywhere. Wherever we look our eyes meet fisher boats, tankers, ferries, fisher boats, tankers, ferries… Slowly we can feel the pulse of the 20-million city.
